Melanie Winter has taken over as project manager of Wasser Berlin International. With over seven years of trade fair experience Melanie Winter, who was born in Berlin, had previously occupied a number of positions at Messe Berlin and in July 2014 joined the project management of Wasser Berlin International.
After four days packed with events last friday Wasser Berlin International 2017 (WBI) came to an end. At its conclusion, the trade fair and congress reported satisfied trade visitors, significant numbers of international exhibitors and visitors as well as high participation in the supporting programme of events.
On 28 March Wasser Berlin International 2017, the four-day trade fair packed full of events, will open its doors. The trade fair and congress will present new topics and services, be even more innovative, offer more information and feature even greater international participation than in previous years.
From 28 to 31 March Berlin Wasser Berlin International 2017 will be the gathering place of the international water industry in Berlin. Exhibitors and trade visitors value the trade fair and accompanying congress as a venue for showcasing new products, a communication platform and a forum for exchanging information.
As an entrepreneur it is impossible to succeed without specialists who are qualified and motivated. For companies in the water industry the shortage of young and skilled workers is a growing problem, while at the same time many school and university students are in search of inspiring careers and lucrative job opportunities.

At the forthcoming edition of Wasser Berlin Internationalthe Blue Planet Berlin Water Dialogues will place the spotlight on resource efficiency where wastewater is concerned.

Andreas Schweitzer, head of Sales at Hermann Sewerin GmbH, has been appointed as chairman of the advisory committee of Wasser Berlin International and succeeds Jörn Winkels.
